Uniform & Equipment Replacement Policy

At East Liverpool Youth Academy (ELYA), we strive to provide high-quality uniforms and equipment to ensure all athletes are prepared, safe, and representing our organization with pride. To maintain fairness and manage program costs responsibly, the following policy applies:

1. Initial Issuance


  • Each athlete will be issued a uniform and/or required equipment at the start of the season.
  • Sizing will be confirmed during registration or scheduled fittings.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate sizing information.

2. Replacement Due to Incorrect Size


  • If a uniform or equipment item does not fit due to incorrect sizing provided at registration, the parent/guardian is responsible for the full cost of replacement.
  • Replacement items will not be issued until payment is received.

3. Replacement Due to Growth or Change in Size


  • If an athlete outgrows a uniform or equipment item during the season, the parent/guardian is responsible for replacement costs.
  • ELYA cannot guarantee availability of identical replacement items mid-season.

4. Replacement Due to Loss or Damage


  • Uniforms and equipment must be properly cared for.
  • Parents/guardians are financially responsible for replacement of any items that are:
  • Lost
  • Stolen
  • Damaged beyond normal wear and tear

5. Payment Terms


  • Replacement costs must be paid prior to the issuance of new items.
  • Payment arrangements may be made with ELYA administration if needed.

6. Return of Issued Items


  • Any items designated as “returnable” must be returned at the end of the season in good condition.
  • Failure to return issued items may result in additional replacement fees and/or ineligibility for future participation until resolved.
